Dial-up to DSL

I have recently gone from dial-up to DSL high speed internet service. The computer that had limewire installed on it is no longer working. I would like to move all of my limewire information from the non-working computer to my computer that has DSL. I purchased the unlimited lifetime membership and am now unable to use it because the computer is not working. Also, my e-mail address changed when I went to DSL. Can anyone please help me? My 13 year old son is driving me crazy wanting to continue downloading his music to his i-pod.

Limewire doesn't offer an unlimited lifetime membership. LW Basic is free and the Pro version is US$18.88. Get it from the official site: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

If you didn't get it from the official site you should try to get your money back.

I purchased the unlimited downloads and am now unable to use it. I would like to transfer all of the limewire information on my non-working computer to my dsl computer. My 13 year old is driving me crazy!!!! He can't download to all of his "toys." Also, my e-mail address changed when I converted to DSL. I would appreciate any and all help.

If you want to move the incomplete files to the new computer, then you'll need to copy the entire incomplete folder & replace the one on the new computer. 2 files within called downloads.dat & .bak are your downld prefs & without them the incompletes are useless.

Once you purchase it isn't it possible to go to the site and get other downloads free? Can you inform them of new e-address. Get same Limewire again?
