Limewire attached itself to my itunes

I synched my ipod and my itunes opened up with a playlist titled 'aay003's limewire itunes'. I can disconnect it, but cannot delete it. Any ideas how this occured and how to get rid of it? I have never installed limewire or other P2P application. I searched for limewire filenames and active processes and did not see anything. Also did a text search for 'aay003' and did not find anything. Thanks for any help.

LimeWire (mac versions, at least) can be set to automatically share the downloads with iTunes on a local network, and iTunes can be set to share its files with other iTunes users. For more about DAAP, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital...ccess_Protocol

So, check the playlists in your iTunes to watch for a user called "aay003" sharing his or her iTunes on your network.

Yeah, happens to mine too. Not that big of a deal. If it annoys you, in Limewire, go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, click that little arrow next to Itunes, and go to SHARING, and there, uncheck Share My Music
