Shared Files

When in my library and i am under shared files. Then there is my songs i downloaded. What does it mean when my song or file has a certain number of hits?

Your Shared folder (downld folder) is being shared. People who are searching for the same files are finding your files. Hits represents they have found your particular files in their searches. The no. of hits represents how many users have found them or how many searches have found them.

I've never been a UP so I'm no expert in that area. But go to your Connections window & see how many you're connected to. If it's more than 5 then you're in UP mode. Also, in the monitor window if you click on Show incoming searches, if it comes up with a warning that you're a leaf being shielded then you're not in UP mode.
