Spam files spawning browser windows

Lately I've been seeing a lot of spoofed spam files in Limewire results. Search for popular terms in limewire and you'll see what I mean. the #1 result is 'GET A NEW IPOD'. If you try to click on it, it forces open a browser window and takes you to http://buylegalmp3.com/.

Is there any way to avoid these fake files? How is it that Limewire allows spammers to open up my browser from within the application?

This sort of thing could easily be used to spread trojans and exploits that work off of IE vulnerabilities.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit your post please, you can't discuss copyright protected material (i.e. the artist you mentioned).. just take out what's in ' '

You can add words like iPod, buylegal, sponsored to the keyword filter (tools > options > filters > keywords). Should reduce the amount of spam that you see!

The keyword filter is useful, for sure. My concern here is that Limewire is spawning browser windows based on spam results. How is that even possible? It's both a spam issue and a security concern.
