Rookie Needs Help

I'm sure this has been covered many times so I will apologize in advance. There.

#1- After I download files, how do I get them to go directly to my library? I have successfully done this but only by random luck. Does it do this automatically and I just have my "library view" set wrong?

#2- How do I "clear" my library so only the current groups of downloaded files appear in it? Let me be clear-I don't want to permanently "clear" my files from the library, I just want to make it easier/less time-consuming for me.

#3- How do I set it up so I am sharing my files? I want to make sure I am as generous as possible...w/out sharing my whole computer.

#4- Sometimes, when I try to move files from the library to a playlist, via "enqueue", they won't go. I have gotten this accomplished by right-clicking on the file and choosing "enqueue", but not always.

#5- How do you pronounce "enqueue"?

Thanks,
Special Thanks to Lord of the Rings...you've already helped alot!

1. For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

After your downlds are 100% complete, LW moves them from the incomplete folder to the Saved Files folder. Only if you are sharing your Shared folder will this folder appear in the LW Library window.

The folders which will normally appear in your Library window are: incomplete folder, Saved Files folder, Shared folder if you're sharing it, & any other shared folders.

BTW on windows, the saved files folder is the same directory as your shared folder. After a time the files are moved into this folder.

2. I don't quite understand this question. (see above)

3. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Sharing & that's where to add folders to share. BTW only the files listed in your Library window are those that are being shared. You can choose to share or not share those by right-clicking them. See How to Share Folders (click on link). You also have the option of sharing immediately downloaded files. You also have the option of sharing partially downloaded files, which helps speed up downlding for others.

4. Not sure why you'd have this problem. I think the files need to be mp3. I'm not sure the playlist will handle other formats but I might be wrong I can't remember. Sometimes if LW is busy uplding & downldling the media player can suffer so keep that in mind. ;)

5. AFAIK it's simply "en" & queue as in kew (with a slight ee-ew in the sound.)

My Lord,
Thank you so much for the help! Everything came up in my library just fine!

What I meant about "clearing" my library was that I wanted only my most recent downloads to be there instead of a whole bunch of them from previous searches that I have to pick through. If I've already moved them to my computer and iTunes, can I delete them? Or move them somewhere?

You were right about the format being the enqueue problem. All the mp4s wouldn't transfer so I made a separate file of them and opened it in iTunes and it was kind enough to convert them for me. Very helpful considering there were about 35 of them! In the future, I will avoid them.

Another question if you don't mind: On iTunes, how do I get my playlists to stay the way I modify them? I'm not talking about converting the IDtags-I've done that and it works on most of them, but twice, I've spent huge amounts of time making sure everything is correct and in the right column etc. (I'm picky like that, but I'm getting help), but whenever I add new files, alot of my hard work is messed up again! Arrggg! Any ideas?
Thanks Again,
