shared folder

Hi everyone. Iwas just wondering why soemtimes when I am deleting files from my shred folder I get the message: cannot delete file, it is being used by another person or program. Does this mean there are people downloading the file. Because I have a firewall drawing in front of the earth in the Limewire. Does that affect their capability of downloading from me. If so waht can I do to help them be able to download. I think the firewall is Windows, but I guess it does allow them to download anyway. I can never tell when they are downloading or uploading from me and if my files get hits. How can I know. Thanks alot. Just wondering. Good day.

Go to your LW Library window, click on your shared folder. Your files will display. If there's numbers next to them in the hits column to the right, then people have found them in their searches. The uploads column shows whether they've been uploaded.

The other way to see uploads is to open your LW Monitor window. The bottom half will show present uploads. ;)

Configuring your firewall will make it easier for them to upload from you. Otherwise there are probably some people whose downloads fail.

To configure XP firewall, see Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
