I have saved songs to a playlist and they have saved fine, but I can never open it. I saved the list as mymusic.m3u, but when I try to open it, it won't open. I need help.

1. One thing you need to be aware of is ... you cannot save a playlist, re-open & edit it & save under the same name. Doing so corrupts the playlist. If you wish to edit/change the details in the playlist, save it under a different name. LW programmers are aware of this problem & will be fixing it up in an upcoming version. Keep an eye out on this page to see when that bug gets fixed: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont..._history.shtml

2. Playlists won't work if you move the files away from the location they were at the time you created the playlist. A playlist is simply a document with pointers to tell the player where to find the song files. If the files have been moved or deleted then the playlist won't work.

Question You don't understand

I understand that you can't save, re-open, edit, and save under the same name. I haven't done that. All I've done is make a playlist, listen to it, save it, close LW, and then the next day when I go to listen to it, the file name is there, I open it, and there is nothing. Why is it doing that?

When you added your songs to the playlist they were in your LW download folder right? Did you move any of them out of the LW download folder? If yes, that's why. If no ... then I'm not sure why you'd have that problem. Perhaps unless you saved it under the same name as another playlist you have there.
