Question about Number of Shared File Dropping?

Okay, not trying to be silly or ask a stupid question, but I was wondering if any of y'all could tell me why my number of shared files drops? I have something to the tune of 4,023 music files, another 300 or so movies and/or video clips of things, and it says I have only shared 4,012 total. It dropped from 4,052 yesterday. I am relatively new to this, so any helpful advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. I have selected to share all file types of the files I have in those directories, and double checked in the library to make sure that none of them are not being shared.

Ideas? Help? Or clarification at least?

Maybe you have duplicate files. Does LimeWire have a way of showing you
which are duplicates? As LimeWire hashes them, it would detect that some are
the same file and probably count them as one file shared.

I do not know if Limewire does or not, (none that I have discovered) but I am Fairly certain that I do not have many duplicates. I go through them on a pretty regular basis (typical audiophyle) and delete ones that are duplicates as I find them. There may be a couple I have not found yet, but not 300+

Update time. Just FYI, I had gotten it up to 4,257. Now, when I restarted limewire, it is at 4,158. So apparently I lost 100 files while the computer was off. LOL. I don't know. One of the folks at work said that MAYBE if someone is calling the file junk by mistake, that that may mess it up? I did find like 4-5 duplicates after groing through the files for about 2 hours earlier, so at least got those taken care of.

Any ideas?
