Can't Chat

When I try to chat with someone who has the little smilly face nothing happens what am i doing wrong

Chat doesn't always work (just like browse host) for whatever unknown readon! Do you get the chat box with a text field to type your message in? If the person's not at their computer (lots of people just leave LW running overnight etc) then you won't get a reply!

Just keep trying & if you ever have a successful chat... time to have a party!!

It never works for me either maybe a new feture of limewire should be a chat room?
