Hi, Can anyone please help me.

I have had to un-install limewire as it has been downloading unwanted porn. I have tried re-installing it and the problem continued. Does anybody kno why this is happening and how to stop it?

Thanks,

I noticed this yesterday and did a complete uninstall and I unplugged my modem and reset it also.

I intially thought my brother had tried to download something, so I cancelled the download and after a few seconds it popped back up there. I did it again and again, then I thought someone had control of my cpu. So I uninstalled everything that had LW on it and I also uninstalled Java, only to find out that they had a new one out any way. I haven't had a problem since. But I just re-installed it so, I let you all know if it happens again.

What could be the cause of this? Anyone???

Checking your system using any of these programs (I reckon all of them) might be a good idea:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/(free)

http://www.grisoft.com(good free AVG)

http://www.ewido.com(free trial which can still be used and updated after the period has ended -the best in my opinion)

http://www.ccleaner.com/download/(free)

Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE)

If you can't get rid of it go here and get some free computer help:
