.rm files does anyone know which program plays these files?.rm files |
That would be the real media player: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealAudio But I'm almost certain that the free VLC player will be able to play them as well: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It's anyway one of the best media players nowadays.....;) http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h1.../Smilywais.gif |

MPlayer is another which can play real media files. It's a similar program to VLC but there's some things each can or can't do. (both programs are also open source projects) |

Let's see, VLC Player, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, Jet Audio Media Player, Real Player, WinAmp Media Player, FLV Player, QuickTime Player, Nero ShowTime Player, N-kia Media Player......I hope I haven't forgotten one that hides on my system......besides, with all those players on my machine I could even bring my socks to be played.....;) :D ;) http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h1.../Smilywais.gif |
Real Player plays .rm files, which is one of the five I use. Which are VLC, WMP, Quicktime, RealPlayer and Divx plus I have also used WinAmp and MusicMatch (I think it was audio only). I also remember using Vivo and another couple of obscure media players (can't remember their names). UK Bob |

I discovered yesterday that MPlayer can play individual VOB files (with sound) but can't play DVD's. Whereas VLC can play DVD's but not individual VOB files. |
LOL I'm sure that Stavros88 is even more confused now on which player to use :D |
