Well, it's a lot more thorough than anything else I've seen here... So yeah, let's hope and pray....
By the way... When is the best time to go to the Islands??
Is it too cold in the winter, and which months are winter? does the sea ice or no?
Im sorry,Ive looked up some info but it's just too generalized...

This probably the best english version link I could find without extensive searching.

Tourist guide has a lot of info. If you use GreenGate to book it of course comes at a cost. But they are really reliable if there is any trouble (know one or two people there)

BTW I would really suggest travelling by sea because of the fog that really likes our airport in the summer. If flying you could very well end up spending like the first 2-3 days at some hotel waiting for it to clear instead of actually arriving here.

Do plan as well as possible without giving yourself too tight a schedule. If you are the outdoorsy type bring a tent, but there is always a risk in doing so because of the unpredictable weather. Even though expensive I would recommend finding accommodations for each day and have the tent as an option rather than a necessity.

Also I'm sure that you can communicate with Greengate through email to help and give advice with planning your vacation

A RV is also an exelent option but I don't know how rentals work here or even if there are any. If travelling by boat that should be no problem though, as you could just rent one in eg. Denmark

Iceland is also very beautiful and I think it's on the Ferrys route as well in the summer (BIG Ferry. Don't really know why they call it a ferry. More like a ship)
Could fly to there and then sail to Faroe Islands if it does.

edit: After asking someone at Greengate I found out that they mostly handle packaged tours with many people and business trips, but was given this link, which by the way is also linked to from their site.
