Limewire Pro, worth the money?
 

People who have LW Pro and used the regular version for awhile beforehand.....

Is Pro really worth the money?

What do you see that it does differently than the free version?

I'm rather skeptical about it.

get frostwire www.frostwire.com its free and i have been getting faster d-loads with it. to tell you the truth i see d-loads speed in 123kbs most times sometimes faster.

It's only worth it if you plan on doing a lot of downloading. Just make sure you get it from the official site. I myself will never pay for a P2P program. Gnutella is free, open network. I wont pay for an app just to download the same files I can with the free version. Same speed, same files across the network, whether you pay or not. Paying doesn't make any diff. in speed nor connections. You can only download as fast as your ISP allows you too so dont get fooled into thinking it's faster or better than basic because it's not.

What kind of connection have you got since Limewire Basic can max it out ?

I really like Limewire but I can't tell any difference in the free version & pro. Heck it's only $18 I figure they have expenses and that's just my contribution.:D

Try searching for something that you would get only like 1 legit result on with Basic and see if not maybe 2 or 3 results pop up this time. Also files that have enough hosts and you get those extra 2 hosts

There is a difference. It's small, but it's there ;)
