spyware
 

After running Ad-ware on my system and removing all of the spyware, Limeware does not function. Limeware starts up but then shuts down automatically... any suggestions???

Did anybody ever consider ad-aware could contain real spyware?

just wondering...

yes i thought about it. but have you thought about getting out the old packet sniffer and testing this "spyoware"? i have thought aboout this.. and then i thought the company that makes this program cant be completely stupid so they must encrypt thier data.. and i dont feel like breaking some companys encryption just to prove they dont send info on me.. its not like i am looking at child porn... makes me wonder why ever one protest " spy-ware" what are they hiding?

Because there are some experts who check this and I never read something negativ about ad-aware!

You can trust ad-aware as every virus scanner and firewall...

I have to wonder about your statements...

Yes switch to Linux, or use a compiled client or change the client!
