What's a decent size for a program?

My brother in law downloads games. Lucky for him he got no viruses from it. But he tried to install the program it missed some files. So what's a decent size for programs.

Depends on program. Some games might be say 40-80 MB for the main game program & 5-20 MB for the sub-games you load inside the main one. But other games might be closer to CD size because they include extras such as music, etc. or must be run from the CD.

Simpler games might be 2-10 MB in size. I'm not a big game player so my knowledge is limited according to what I've researched for research purposes. lol :D

lol. He wanted to know because he's new to this. And he downloaded a program with a crack. But the game was missing a file. I wanted to know to so I know what programs are good and bad. I've seen a lot of the 851.7 zip virus a lot.
