Default Automatic detection of UPnP

Are there any other P2P clients that have automatic detection of UPnP?

LimeWire will but "only" if you have UPnP enabled. If UPnP's not enabled then you will be under NAT firewall conditions. Some devices are upnp enabled by default, some not. See Section 2 about UPnP here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

BTW if you find UPnP unreliable, then port forwarding is almost always more reliable. (see section 3 of link above)

Thanks! An interesting read indeed.

I read where Shareaza may be getting automatic detection of UPnP in it's next version. Whenever that may be.

Guys

Just out of interest, I found that UPnP was ineffectual (probably nonexistent) on my SpeedTouch 510 v6 modem/router.
