How to send file to another country

Hello,
I'm from Malaysia. I was tried this LW at my office PCs and its worked good. But, when I trying to send a file to my friend in Jakarta, Indonesia, we cannot trace our files each other. Though, its can work quiet good for internal PCs at our office. How to dissolve this problem?

At office we use LAN with router. And I was setting up follow LW instruction.
Thank you.

Are you trying to direct connect with your friend, or are they trying to find your files in a search?
Direct connect is probably easier, that way your friend will be able to browse your shared files & download from there.

But...for direct connect to work, you should both have chat enabled & not be seeing LW's firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue earth). Have a look through the thread below (click on link) for some more info about direct connect:wink:

If either of you does see the firewall icon, you'll need to have a look through the thread below. It has a lot of info about firewall problems & their solutions
Connection problems? Check here first!
