Please do yourself a favor and do a bit of reading here on the forum

And stay away from .zip , .rar and other files unless you are **** sure that they are OK. If you don't then prepare yourself for some nasty surprises

You just need to have Anti-virus software that has not expired. Over the last several years, I have had either Norton or McAfee anti-virus and neither will allow a virus. And, using Kazaa, Limewire, etc. I have unknowingly tried to downloaded hundreds of files that had a virus including exe, zip, etc. However, the anti-virus ALWAYS removed the virus during download and BEFORE the download was complete.

Before I installed anti-virus software, I would frequently get a virus and I would end up reformatting my hard drive. That is why you install anti-virus software. It works.

MM it's your falt if you did read the virus-worms thread you would no not to download any thing past 1,000 kb most likely a worm or virus.and go to download.com and get AVG Free it works so it should get it out.
