Default pro stability vs basic
Have had consistent problems with limewire shutting down every few minutes despite turning off firewalls, uninstalling and reinstalling, and making adjustments in the lime wire settings. Will pro version improve this?

no. I'd suggest http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html & deleting your LW preferences folder.
