Can LimeWire run on Kubuntu? I just ordered free kubuntu disks. Does it run on Ubuntu too? I ordered those too.

If it supports Java 1.5-6 then there's a good possibility. Search for kubuntu on the forums. Else find out here http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=100 or here http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php

Ubuntu does. I searched on here. Et viola said he's running limewire and frostwire on ubuntu.

Will my wireless USB router work with ubuntu and kubuntu? Or my USB cd burner. If it doesn't I will be screwed. I need internet!

That's why I suggested you search for or ask at those forums. They will probably know best & have the most kubuntu users passing thru. et Voila might know though.

I registered there. And asked. Let's see what happens.

UPDATE!: I found out I don't have a partition for Xubuntu. But I am going to reinstall Windows. Leave a partition for Xubuntu. Then put Xubuntu on the empty partition. My cousin will do it for me on thanksgiving. I can't wait! But for the adapter. I might have to run some program to get it running.
