Lost My Limewire Pro; Need to re-install

Due to a system crash of my computer I lost the installation of the Limewire PRO that was installed . Unfortunately, when I tried to re-install by going to the web site of Limewire the e-mail address I put in was rejected. Since I paid for the lifetime subscription to Limewire a while back, the e-mail address may have been different than the one I have presently and which may not be the one registered with my account at Limewire.

I would like to know how I can contact them to re-install my Limewire PRO with the situation I am in since Limewire only has support via e-mail.

Please rspond ASAP.

there is no such thing as a lifetime subscription to LimeWire...a purchase lasts for 6 months of updates...

Lost Limewire PRO due to system crash; how do I get support without the correct email

Due to a system crash of my computer I lost the installation of the Limewire PRO that was installed . Unfortunately, when I tried to re-install by going to the web site of Limewire the e-mail address I put in was rejected. Since I paid for the UNLIMITED subscription to Limewire PRO a while back, the e-mail address may have been different than the one I have presently and which may not be the one registered with my account at Limewire.

I would like to know how I can contact them (1-800 number or general e-mail) to re-install my Limewire PRO with the situation I am in since Limewire only has support via another e-mail.

Please respond ASAP.

Stop double posting

There is no UNLIMITED lifetime subscription to LimewirePro. You have been scammed by someone having nothing to do with LimewireLLC (The REAL company that makes Limewire)

Limewire support of course does not give support for LimewirePro that you didn't pay them one cent for. You gave your money to the scamartists instead of LimewireLLC

Search the forum for scammed. You are not the first person to be scammed into buying Unlimited Limewire

Buy the real thing here www.limewire.com . Also save your installers to disk or something from now on

if you made your purchase at www.limewire.com, then you need to get some new glasses...if you paid elsewhere, you were scammed...

END OF FARKING DISCUSSION...LW HAS NEVER HAD A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

there is a lifetime membership... you get THAT VERSION for a lifetime... you don't have to upgrade, but to prevent viruses and ads its always good to do so... after all whats $20 a year... after all you get download millions of dallors worth of music, movies, ect. for free...

There's NO official lifetime membership ie if you buy Pro from the official site. Some scam sites do offer a 'lifetime membership'.
You don't have to update an official version either, the purchaser can use the version(s) they've bought for as long as they like.
Updating isn't going to prevent viruses...it's up to the user to make sure they're scanning files after download with their AV & to be aware of what file types are easily infected, whether file size looks correct etc & learn what to avoid ;)

Charging for Limewire is illegal. It's open source software. If you paid for it, you should try to get your money back.

For the time being, however, just google XXXXXXXXXX. You'll get dozens of sites that offer a completely legal, legit, full copy of limewire.

You shouldn't encourage people to google for Pro...people end up with all sorts of malware & versions that are stuffed.

If they want a copy of Pro, they can buy a clean version from the official site
www.limewire.com
If they don't want to pay for Pro, there's always the free basic version.
It is NOT illegal to charge for Pro.

Alright, let me re-phrase. It's "immoral".
Under the GPL, you can charge for software. However, anybody that pays for it can then redistribute it free of charge.
Charging for it here when it is legally available for free all over the internet is kind of stupid if you ask me.

Google your hearts out folks. Your just wastin money otherwise
