URGENT !! I got billed on a DECLINED transaction !!!!!!! YESTERDAY ! getting all excited about upgrading to the Limewire Pro turbo speed i clicked ! and i went to the site to upgrade and pay via credit card. i filled in everything, and submitted the request .. then it was declined .. so i thought i might have made a mistake. so i went through the process again and the transaction got declined again.. TODAY morning ! i called the bank to see whats the problem with my mastercard was. the bank tells me there is no problem and it is working fine.. HERE LAYS THE PROBLEM .. i GOT BILLED TWICE for a declined transaction !! since it was declined why was i billed for it ?? and things got worse ! when i tried to contact someone at lime wire ! and i didnt find any support cause i had to be a registered LimewirePRO user to get the support i need !! so what am i supposed to do ? guess the sales email address ? or guess the managers email address ?? this behaviour is not acceptable at all ! i accepted to upgrade cause i trust the reputation LIMEWIRE spreads. SO ? now ? what am i supposed to do ?! all day today i was looking for an email address to ask for this problem to be solved ! and guess what ? i didnt find any support or any email to send too ! :mad: :mad: :mad: |
firstly...please don't post all over the place.. secondly, this topic has nothing to do with either getting started or connection problems.. thirdly, it has been moved to open discussion now...just where did you purchase LimeWire from? |
well this is a technical issue isnt it ? i registered online i pressd on UPGRADE to Limewire Pro filled in the info then submitted them then it was declined as i said earlier but still i got billed for it .. all day today i was trying to figure out how to contact and find support !! |
technical issue?...let's just skip that malarky... again, exactly where did you make your purchase...online is assumed...where?? |

alrighty then...wanted to make sure you hadn't been scammed and had bought a 'bogus' copy from an 'outlaw' at that site, contact>support http://sales.limewire.com/support/ you can also use the PM function of this forum board to contact zab who is an employee of LimeWire.. be aware this forum is not run by LW, nor are the people who do the 'work' here on their payroll... |
Re: this is what ive been telling u man !! i try to go to their support and i have to enter an email address ! but when i enter my email address i get this .. XXXXXXXmail.com ( the XXXXX's is to cover my email) is not a valid LimeWire PRO email. Try again with a different email address so i cant get support unless im registered as a Pro user .. and i am not cause the transaction got canceled. |

Billed twice on a declined notification Hello, I have the exact same problem. On November 20 th I tried to upgrade my basic account to Limewire pro and got a payment declined notification thinking that I might have missed something I proceeded with the transaction one more time and got the same transaction declined notification. Subsequently I called my bank to find out whether there was any problem with my card, only to find out that, the transactions were completed on both attempts. Now for the past week I have been trying to contact someone/anyone at limewire but there is no email addres or telephone number for support and my email address is not appearing as approved email so I am not even being able to access the pro support forum. I am really surprised by such a poor level of service. |
