Eh????? ... this is the latest beta version and it is available from www.limewire.com since 1st November as I recall. Someone mentioned it on the forums I seem to remember

Best to get it from limewire.com You never can be quite sure what a sharer on that site/network might have put into in ..adware etc....

Whether it is LW basic or pro, it should "only" be obtained from the official site.
LW 4.13 is a beta. The next official release will have an even number (eg: 4.14.)
As it is, LW 4.13 requires a minimum of Java version 1.5, it won't work with earlier java versions. It seems to work well with Java 1.6 for myself, but I have seen a report of someone having problems with java 1.6, but both java 1.6 & LW 4.13 are beta after all.

I understand Dark Guy uploaded a good copy of Limewire to that site/network in order to accumulate points however that works.. If this was Basic that is fine, if Pro it is not. The point is however that with all the scam sites around there is no way to assure anyone in general that what they are getting from that site/network is good or not and this applies equally to people downloading Limewire through the Limewire application. It is risky so we always advise against it.
