![]() so ive got about 500 songs and a couple of movies in my labrary on LimeWire. I have found out the hard way, if i delete a song it is wiped off my h/d aswell. Now, i wish to download more songs, am i cursed to haing the new downloads mixed in with the current downloads? can i make files for each download session. when i wish to move my music to my ipod, must i dig thru and select the new music mixed in with the old music? thanks jim |

![]() Some of us use iTunes. So the files are added to iTunes (if you use windows you must manually add them), & then add the songs to iPod from iTunes. I share my iTunes so the iTunes Music Library is visible in the LW Library window. To get an idea, see these links iTunes shared library, & this one Albumwrap/iTunes When I add music to iTunes, I arrange the folder by date, so the newest is at the top of the folder. Also, iTunes will not re-add the same file "if" everything about the file is identical & that includes name, size, id3 tag, etc. Likewise, you can organise iTunes library by date added. To do that you choose show date added from edit>view menu, then click on the top of that date added column to organise them thus. |

![]() Sure, wait for the next official release of LW or else, get the LW beta now http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml If deleting from the Library, the files will go to the trash/recycle bin, instead of being automatically deleted. If you're using iTunes, you should know by now how to add them properly. Drag & drop them onto the iTunes music/Library icon at the top of the playlists so that iTunes will add them to its own music library. After you've succeeded once, you will never look back. Or did I misunderstand your question/problem? |
