What software do you currently have for converting the file and then burning it ?? |
hi hi hmm ok,sounds like im missing some software programs,i dont have anything installed to convert it,are there any free ones out there? what else do i need to do?it is a avi file that i downloaded. thanks lee. |
I personally use DVDSANTA.... http://www.dvdsanta.com get it here.... 1.Open the video files to dvd 2.Open add media 3.Now you should have a window to your shared folder, if not browse for it 4.Ok now select your file and open 5.Then select create dvd Thats all there is to it just remember to select either PAL or NTSC depending what your dvd player accepts... This process is converting the file for you and after that you will then have the option to burn to disk, just remember when you are burning your disk, its best to do it at a slower speed for better results.... Also if you have files eg. part1, part2, and even part3 open them one after the other (step 4)....dvdsanta will automatically join all files together in the converting process..... Good luck and enjoy your dvd.... |
thanks hi wonder, ok great, thanks,i will try that and see how things go,it looks easy enough but i will get back to you if i get stuck. thanks again lee. |
The Demo version is excellent, it will have demo in small print across the top of the screen in the output video, this usually disappears within a minute or two,if it annoys you just zoom in a frame with dvd players remote control...:rolleyes_2: Let me know how you get on... |
hi hi wonder, tried santa everything went ok but when i pressed burn button it says insert disc,i have a blank dvd disc in but it wont do anything else it just stands,im pretty sure i have the right disc dvd+rw so im lost again. can you help? thanks lee. |
Firstly try another disc incase that one is faulty.. If it still doesn't work just make sure that your burner takes +RW discs, it might take -RW...It should tell you on the front of the burner... for example mine says RW dvd+rewritable....:rolleyes_2: |
