under shared on iTunes, not my Ipod..help
 

in my itunes program under shared , no longer see the name of my Ipod. its called diamts lime wire tunes...and in that file is nothing but filth. ive tried to delete, can not. ive searched for the file in "my computer" no luck, i removed itunes program from my computer and re downloaded new version, once i opened itunes, same deal, theres the same folder with the same crap

problem 2, i make a new folder for my music, drag and drop, no problem. when i connect my Ipod to my laptop with itunes open, my ipod is alerts, DO NOT DISCONNECT, all songs are removed from my ipod....

can anyone explain this to me like im a 2 year old

iTunes will show a playlist called ??? LimeWire tunes or something similar which simply reflects what files you have in the LW download folder. To remove this, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & disable the iTunes sharing option. Then relaunch both LW & iTunes & you won't see that playlist any more. ;) :)

For problem 2, it sounds like you have iPod set for automatic update of playlist. What auto-update does is remove all songs from iPod then update with the new playlist.
