junior member i have just bought a new ipod nano i went to imusic-downloads.com and paid for their lifetime subscription it then directed me to limewire pro after i downloaded my songs i couldn't get them to load on to the itunes does anybody have any suggestions |
How much did you pay? It sounds like a scam site. Pro costs $18.88 USD for 6 months of updates & email support. LW basic is free. There's no lifetime membership for Pro. It's up to you whether you want to keep what you've got. I'd advise you to contact your bank/CC company & report this, they may be able to cancel the transaction for you. Then try out LW basic, or buy Pro from the official site where you'll get a clean version. The only official site for downloading either version is www.limewire.com Check out the 2 threads below http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=28751 http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=44499 |
That site has now been added to the list on page 5 of the 1st link Birdy gave. Please report that site as being a scam site when prompted to. The more people who complain, the faster scam sites like that will be removed from the internet. |
Although I have an iPod shuffle, I also have an iPod nano. I have put songs from LW on my nano, but it's not as hard as some people would think. Depending on where your LW songs are stored, you can tell iTunes to import your LW songs to your nano (you have to do that to every song you pick, in order to import them to your nano), and then once you update your nano you can listen to your favorite LW songs on nano. By the way, I have LW Basic (version 4.12.6) and I didn't have to pay anything for it. |
