help damsel in distress ! (WMA files won't burn)

hope this caught your eye !:laugh_2: ...seems nobody has any answer to my questions previously , but the gals seem to get tons of replys ! ..... can anyone let me know, is this really worth the time ( limewire )...seems virtually every track i download, will not let me burn to cd, all though they all play in wmp etc.... what is the easiest way to identify burnable downloads before download, i have done everything reccomended in the forums, but still cannot see what to download with a successful burn at the end ??? once downloaded on limewire, there is still no identifying info to know it will burn when opened up in wmp...i have tried cc and weed/s downloads, which gives little or know sources.....getting fed up .... failing this whats the best site if you wanna pay and get downloads without all this inconveinence of waste time ....thanks

Go to the music store or buy music online.

Although I've run into problems with my WMP and had to roll it back to an earlier version (I now have WMP9), I have no problems burning CDs. I have a CD burner that will burn anything that's suitable for burn. Usually, CD burners will burn WMAs or MP3s depending on how you have it set up. Not all CD burners will burn videos, because not all of them have that capability. I know I don't, since I don't have a DVD-RW.

1stly stay away from wma files. 2ndly, check each file out first by playing it on your computyer to be sure it wasn't purchased online with DRM included. If not then safe to burn. Any further tips send me a personal message by clicking on my username.
What you should know about WMA/WMV Files

you might try downloading another music player.
i only use my realplayer to burn. accepts all formats, set to burn as mp3, but won't allow you to burn wma's (so i don't dl them). W.M.P. is becoming a pain to use. i also use rhapsody occasionally to burn.

p.s. made the mistake of updating wmp, i don't even use it now!

You cant go wrong if you only download tracks marked as mp3s. I found that most stuff i downloaded that were other formats wouldnt burn to disk for one reason or another.
