Thread retitled & moved to LW sections. :D

I got an iPod Nano and I just minimize iTunes and Limewire so both fill half the page. Then just drag and drop the music.

Yep that's manual updating of the pod. I'd highly recommend using manual updating of iPods so you can do as Joe the Porsche does.

Files not transfering from LW to Tunes

My problem seems to be different from the thers posted. When I click and drag the file from LW to iTunes it seems to be transfering as a link to a URL. I get the following message, "file:/c:/Users/Tom%Gottschalk%Jr/shared/Snoop does not sem to be a valid Podcast URL". I am running Windows Vista and LW Pro along with the latest version of iTunes. If I need to turn off the player in LW, how do I do that. Before I followed the suggestions in the thread, I wanted to make sure that I was experiencing the same type of problem. THANKS!

Limewire doesn't have your music files...it only displays the Library of files that you have downloaded/are sharing.

First, you need to go to the folder that actually has your music files. If you can't find this folder, go into your Limewire library, select a music file, and select 'Explore' in the bottom left corner. This will open up the folder.

Hopefully, now you can click and drag your files into iTunes.

It is generally recommended that you turn off the Limewire player and use other players, i.e. iTunes. It's under Tools...options somewhere.

Hope this helps
