I think the image speaks for itself. The lesson here is NEVER be fooled by sponsored results or else you will no doubt not get to where you really want to go. But instead be tricked by attractive advertising into buying something you don't really want & is not what you originally sought. Or simply scammed by scam sites. So a big thumbs down to Google & related search engines for not taking more responsibility with who they allow to advertise through their business. Well it appears Google loves to shake hands with thieves, liars, cheats, criminals, scammers, etc. So how honest is Google in their day to day business dealings? Their sponsored results speak for themselves don't they!!!

LOL. Just tried it and not a single sponsored result.

This so depends on location or something like that. But I do agree that living in the perfect world they would not take advantage of the newbies.

There would be no google without some ads, or yahoo, or any other searchengine.

I should make it a little clearer, that all the 'Sponsored' results in the search results are SCAM sites. As you see from the image in the above post, sponsored search results are listed at top & to the right of the 'normal' search results. Sponsored results leading you to Rogue sites that are scammers. LimeWire.org do not advertise and definitely do not make claims of getting free mp3's, movies or games or lifetime support. The magic words the scam sites use are unlimited, lifetime, millions or billions, Free downloads, games, mp3's, movies, burn your own CD's, easy or quick or simple.

You do NOT see those words at the official Gnutella program sites. :)
