INTERNET FRAUD: We've only just discovered that we were ripped off in Jan by MP3NETONLINE.com as well. We paid for what we thought was Limewire, only to learn tonight that we were charged £26.40 to this company and nothing to show for it. This was way over the odds for what we originally signed up for. To boot, we still can't connect to Limewire, so are well cheesed off.

These sites need to be removed. These d**ckheads take people's hard working money because they are too lazy to get a job, What a life. :pissed:

Although I agree with your sentiments you must realise that these scam sites exist, like predators in the wild, because the prey is easy and plentiful. If people were more careful about how they spent their money on the Internet, just by doing a little research, then they would not loose their money and there would not be so many scam sites.

These sites feed on people’s gullibility and naivety, they may even feed on some people’s greed, but the bottom line is they are there because the pickings are plentiful and so very rich.

Mp3netonline.com Ripp-off (continued Saga)

I have alerted Trading Standards in the UK and the Attorney General's Office in the US about the fraudulent practice of MP3NETONLINE.COM, urging them to investigate the company. Does anyone know in which State it is based? I'm going to try and contact them - but not by phone as it's far too prohibitive in cost.:mad2:

I agree with what you said. But OMG, what has the internet turned into today? And it's mean what these people do because they people that go to these sites thinking there real are usually innocent. But when they get caught and shut down, things will get better. I'm just glad mininova.com redirects to mininova.org now.

Just remember this, for every scumbag that's pulled of the internet there's probably about 4 or 5 to take it's place.
