Well I just downloaded it and it actually says it's 4.12.10...
I'm also having trouble getting it to open at the moment, but I am burning a disk, so I will let you know once that is all done and I will check it out...

When I open the app back up and click Help » About Limewire, I get 4.12.8.

You know, come to think of it, we might be uncovering a problem that's existed for awhile now. I can't remember the specifics, but I'm quite sure that at one point I was at a certain version level. And kept checkin' the webpage to see if there was a new version out. And there wasn't. And then, all of a sudden, I checked it again (without a lot of intervening time) and there was a new version. But the thing was, it was several versions later. I might be able to dig out the details, but I'm sure this is what I encountered.

Food for thought . . . and inquiry?

Settle down. I have refreshed my page. I see 4.12.6.
WW is downloading the 4.12.8 & she will check it out & let you know what she finds.
