Sharing files
 

Im brand new to Limewire and would like to know how can I share files without sharing all of my hard drive?. For example if I allowed say C:\documents & settings/My documents\limewire - does this limit sharing to limewire or enable others to view all of my documents. Im new at computers and would appreciate any help and other suggestions or info.

Hi Ons.
When u first set up limewire u would have been asked if you want to share other Folders on your computer, this you should have declined. then the only
folder you would be sharing will be the L/W folder. If you see half of your
computer being shared in LimeWire Library Then just reinstall with the latest
version of L/W, Just make sure you Delete The Prefs folder, Located at
C:Dockuments n settings/your name user/application data/Delete the LimeWire folder, after uninstalling L/W from START/All programs.

I find it best to make a new folder on another Drive, Not C then if anything goes bang you wont loose your Shares to do this,
Make a folder, name it, then go to L/W Tools/options/saving.now browse to the folder you made and select n apply.
Repete Tools/options and click on Sharing go to folder again and select n apply. THAT should do it.
