Poorly designed windows When clicking on 'tools' and then 'options' the window doesn't open fully. I can only see the very top of the 4 buttons at the bottom of the window. I can't read what they are so changing options is pretty much a mystery. I have contacted limewire technical and they say there is nothing they can to to make the 'options' window larger so I can read the selection buttons at the bottom of the window. Is there something I can do about this situation? I can't believe the designers of the program wouldn't have caught this problem and applied a fix!! Thanks, legro1 |
If you've changed skins, try changing them back. Sometimes changing skins will have side effects. It may be a conflict with your graphics card setting or driver. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=39600 Or try deleting your .limewire preferences folder. Points 2. and 3. while limewire is closed: Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should! Also make sure your Java's up to date. Use the JRE offline installer here & remove your current Java version before you install the new one. http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp |
legro1 You can also try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or higher, this will allow more of the option box to be shown on your screen. UK Bob |
