Has this always happened, or is it a new thing? Have you changed your version of WMP?
Have you tried playing songs thru a different player? If so, does the same thing happen?

Try playing things thru VLC player...see if things are any different.

And a bit of info to help with playing files through VLC
Using VLC player (Windows)

I don't use WMP so I've never seen this, maybe someone else on the forum who uses WMP regularly will have something more to add!!

yes i did upgrade to the newest windows media player 11 but things were working fine for a couple of weeks after that. maybe i picked up a bug when i downloaded thAT? BY the way thanks for your time trying to help me i really appreciate it

wondering why February 17th, 2007 03:52 PM

There's a corrupted file within your limewire, the thing is can you remember what you last downloaded before the error message started to show up...

Usually it's a movie file that causes this to happen...

You will also find that you will not be able to access your shared folder outside of limewire either...

If you can remember the file name delete it from your LW library, if you cant keep LW open for long enough use your comps search and when it finds it delete it from there...:rolleyes_2:
