Freeloaders Destroying P2P

I recently went and changed the options under connection preferencing in order to keep freeloaders from connecting to me unless they have atleast 30 files to share (not too much to ask). However when I choose "browse host" in my monitor window I never seem to find anyone that is sharing. Does this feature not work??? I fully understand everyones paranoia these days about invasion of our privacy by big brother purposely looking for certain things in P2P users computers, but if no one shares then this whole P2P thing is a complete waste of time and big brother wins without ever firing a shot. The lack of sharing is becoming increasingly annoying. I simply kill uploads on anyone that is not sharing but I know this is not the ideal solution.

1. The filter for no. of files to share doesn't really work properly. Hasn't for a long time! 2. Browse host is not a reliable way of determining if people are sharing. Sorry but that's the facts. I've attempted to browse a person & found they had zero or 60 files. Then 20 mins later found they had several thousand. Also vice versa. Browse host is unfortunately affected by available bandwidth & slots for you & them, & also local traffic.

BTW if you'd like to meet a real freeloader, see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=67368 lol
