Default PG2

Hi everyone!! Anyone having trouble with Peer Guardian?? Its telling me that 0 IP's are blocked. Uninstalled & reinstalled twice and no change. All lists are checked and it says no update needed. I know they have been having some troubles but this has never happened. Also no mention of it on there forums. Any Ideas??? Thanks,

Mine's been working fine. The only thing I've noticed is that the P2P list isn't updating.

Click on "List Manager" and make sure you have all the lists checked that you want to block. I have them all checked. Then click on "Check Updates" to make sure your lists are up to date.

Do you have it set to block HTTP?....You don't need to run it unless your using a file sharing app.

One other thought, click on settings and check under "Log Window" and make sure it's set to 12 or so and not 0.

Remoc,
Mine was also blocking 0 IPs today. I reinstalled...no joy.
In the end I used the comp search & deleted everything PG2 (had to use safe mode to get rid of a couple of things).

Then reinstalled again & things are back to normal

Hey Thanks for the replies. Yea Birdy I tried everything and finally I had to download it to my ext hd to get it to work. When I reinstalled on c: drive nothing ever changed. Just wondering you said you had to use safe mode to delete a few things. Please elaborate. Obviously you know alot more about this than I. Going to work but will be back tonight. Thanks in advance for your help

I started the comp in safe mode...
How to start in safe mode
...went back to the computer's search, found the files & tried to delete them. I got an error, but once I rebooted the files were gone.

Once all the PG2 stuff was gone, I downloaded the installer again from Phoenix Labs & reinstalled PG2. It updated fine this morning & is still blocking millions of IPs, so everything seems good.

If files are stubborn & deleting in safe mode doesn't work, there are a few tools here. I've used Unlocker & DelinvFile before & they're good.
