Limewire connection issue, HELP!

Up until a few days ago Limewire would connect with no problem, it would reach turbo charged in seconds, I have 8mbit connection.
But lately the connections take a long time and even then they are not stable, download speeds have gone from an average of 80KB/s to around 9KB/s, even searches are incredibly slow!.

I have since learned that Pipex is limiting P2P durin the hours 6am to 11pm UK time, my own isp is btinternet.

I'v run diagnostics, checked the cables, measured for noise on the line and everything is clean, so I did a virus and spyware scan and that also came up clean.

I am at a loss as to why I've suddenly lost all that speed, I can understand daytime usage being slow, but after midnight it does not make sense.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I can remember googling btinternet and from memory they shape p2p as well.....
Maybe their shaping even heavier than before...
