limewire re-opens aftre closing and all the time>?
 

not sure where to ask this question but my limewire turns on at start-up which i can live with..but after a turn it off it opens up again everytime so bassically its always on even when i dont want it to be..any ideas>? i changed the setting to not turn on at start-up but it didnt help.after i close it out it just turns back on ,on its own .ty

You probably have a worm.

Try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 here, it's worked for a lot of people.

Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & use it to scan files that you've downloaded before you open them.

i tied doing the steps as told but i cant find the option to extract all when i right click on the file i downloaded

I just had a try, I didn't have an 'extract all' option either but just unzipping/extracting to the BFU folder seemed fine...if you're using Winzip, unzip the file to the BFU folder you created in C drive.

If you're using WinRAR, extract the folder to that same BFU folder.
