Any Ideas?

After recently checking a new download on limewire I was redirected to a web page which said "warning , your activities have been logged" There was a list containing my IP address and the time I had been directed to the site. Further down the page was a link to a google pack download page. I tried again with a similar download and got the same result (thay were both short Anime clips for movies I was looking for, nothing freaky or anything!) both of the clips were Quicktime so I checked other Wuicktime files but they seemed to be OK. I've never encountered this problem before , was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this?

Sounds like it could of been spam, but it could also contain Malware...

You should get rid of those files and do a system scan with your antivirus and spyware apps...
Here are a list of free ones that are excellent...

You also need to be really careful with the files you download, always check their sizes and file formats....

What you should know about WMA Files

WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

Unfortunately have lots of blonde moments! Got rid of the files immediately after i saw the web page , checked my system, seems fine. Never came across something like this before on limewire but all my instincts said SCAM! Just wanted to be thorough, Thanx for the info.
