dull songs I have noticed that some of the music that I have downloaded seems to be dulled (muffled). They do sound OK when I use my earbuds, but when I use my iPod vehicle cradle, alot of the songs have very different quality. I have to turn my radio all the way up and it is still muffled. Anybody have hints to fix this? |
yea go out and get the cd much better than downloading it.Because it's allways risk to download a song you never no what your going to get. Chris b... |
Also check the bitrate of the files before you d/load them. Higher bitrate should mean better quality. Check the bitrate against the file size, the higher the bitrate the larger the file. |
I find that the bitrate doesn't seem to matter all that much. What I do to bring up the volume level is bring it into Roxio's sound editor; select all; normalize; and save. This is also a good tool to repair a good song that has been chopped off abruptly at the end with a fade out. Another great tool with the creator 9 is it's big help in straightening out your files by trying to corrrectly rename them and at the same time find the audio tags(genre;artist; album...). That's a biggie in my book. http://sc.groups.msn.com/tn/A5/E0/vi...b2/1c/2a98.jpg |
