I keep gettin a message that wont let me play my songs
 

every time i turn off my computer .. turn it back on .. and go to limewire and try to play a song a message pops up that says "Limewire will not launch the specified file for security reasons" .. and it says this for EVERYTHING i downloaded .. what is this and how do i fix it?? please help

Try using a third party player like itunes or WMP..

To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...
To make itunes or WMP your default player
Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select the player you want
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK
