what's best

i have been downloading from Limewire for a while now, but I need to know the answer to a question....I just got my car hooked up to where I can play my MP3 through my radio.....some songs are clear and sound great.....other songs sound like crap. When you do a search on an artist and all the songs are listed, which ones are the best quality, the ones with the highest BIT rate or most stars or most downloads or what?
