How to create a Private Gnutella network using LimeWire Hello, I am doing a research on LimeWire and I want to create a p2p network of 10 computers without connecting to the internet. I understand that limewire connects upon startup to a peer online that is part of the Gnutella network of LimeWire... Is it possible for me to create a p2p limeWire network with 10 computers on a private LAN ? How could I do that? LimeWire supposidly has no servers, its a pure peer-to-peer architecture, how can I start my own p2p network in that case? without accessing the internet.. Can some1 help?? |
The developers can probably give the best advice, so try posting your question here How Gnutella and LimeWire Work - LimeWire Forums There are some old threads around that discussed your situation before, but perhaps a dev will be able to give you a better and more recent answer. Cheers |
