Question about license warnings Hello! :) I'm new here and I have a small question... I'm sorry if it's already been asked but I've searched the forums for an hour and couldn't find anything similar... My problem is this: I really want to avoid downloading copyrighted material so I've tried to activate the "Show License Warning" (choosing Tools, Options, Searching). But no warnings come up - no matter what I try to download! And I'm sure some of it must be copyrighted... I've also tried to "Revert to Default" (choosing Tools, Options, View). Nothing I do seems to help... If somebody could help me with this, I'd be really grateful... Thanks from a very frustrated girl :bangh: |
Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used much older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. After deleting the prefs, you should find that the license box pops up the first time you try to download a file;) |
Thank you... I'll try that :) |
