how do I change the port that limewire uses

My isp is blocking limewire. yahoo answers say that one possibility is to change what port limewire runs off of. can anyone walk me through this step by step? if I change what port I am using . . . could someone explain how ports work. thanks a lot, Dave.

In LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. On that page, you'll see LW's listening port. Change that port to 64049 > Apply > ok. You can also try other port numbers in the range of 49152 - 65535 (eg 65000). Just remember to click Apply then ok to save any changes that you make.

You could also have a read through this thread, there might be some useful info.
Important!!!!!!! A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire

Good luck:)
