Napster was forced into their grave. Limewire seems unable to stop digging their own. Rip......give me my six bucks back! This advertising and new version stinks to the high heavens.

How can you remove the unwanted, stupid, marketing flop, annoying banners? If this is not possible.....Goodbye LW, and I'll take my 10,000+ MP3's elsewhere!

Or you can pay 6 dollars for the development of LimeWire and get an ad-free (banners, installers, and etc) working LimeWire with 6 months of upgrades.

Yes , but I actually concluded that my own home-grown installer is beter then the official one .
Because it does not depends upon Windows Installer and thus doesn't crash .

I downloaded the ad free version 2.1.2 you suggested and I still have the annoying banner below (advertising). What up with that Freak?

Limewire is another example of something that was good that's turned bad. I paid $6 bucks too much for this program and I want my money back. I downloaded Morpheus, and it kick's LW's butt. Goodbye Limewire! Gravestone will read someday.

download ad-aware from lavasoft to remove the ad program installed by the basic limewire version

CLean LimeWire will still display ads if you have CyDoor on your system .
Like the last post said : Use Ad-Aware to get rid of it .
