Pings

I have been having my computer shut down quite a bit during the process of downloading. I then have to reboot my computer and most of the time Limewire will not complete an unfinished download. Could someone be sending pings to my computer through Limewire to cause me these problems? If so, what can I do to prevent this in the future. I'm really tired of this almost to the point of uninstalling Limewire from my computer.

'Pings' will not be the cause of such problems...

Please give us a LOT more info re: your computer, LimeWire version, connection properties... The Works !

I took the computer back to the dealer I bought it from today and he swapped everything (harddrives/DVD, etc) from it to another tower and I haven't had any more problems.
