Help for versions
 

Hi everybody,

I have been using LimeWire Pro for more than a year and everything has been good using the program until this LimeWire Pro Beta version 4.13 (If I'm not mistaking)

Now my LimeWire is so bad, it can't even give results no more than 20 files even if you search for the most known artist or song. The search ends very fast, lots of junk stuff come up even though I disabled or stoped them in options.
Before everything used to be normal, results came out without problem, longer search and my LimeWire wasn't this weird. I don't even know how I got this Beta and also I'm very confused with what's this Beta because I'm not knowledge (expert) when it comes to these things

Is any way how I can use the current version 4.12.15 because even when I purchased the new release it still gives me the Beta and I really don't like it.

Use your personal download link to download Pro...you'll have the option to download either the latest stable release (4.12.15), or the latest Beta version (4.13.10). Just choose the stable release;)

If you don't have your download link saved, go here & enter the email address that you used to buy Pro.

The Beta versions of LW are still being tested (so there may be bugs). You can see the changelog here although it's not really up to date. Depending which Beta you have, it might be included in the changelog.

If you don't know how you got the Beta version then I'm confused as well:eek: Did you buy Pro from Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download « for $18.88??

From your personal download page, the beta link is at the bottom of the page. So it should normally show the regular versions of LW. BTW I would recommend turning your junk filter strength button to near zero .. about 4-5 mm from zero or from the far left. It is not as reliable at the higher strength as it used to be.

It might also be worth doing this; try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) But make a note of your settings under Tools>Options as next time you open LW you will need to reset all option settings! ;)
