Limewire pro VS other Limewire versions

I upgraded to Limewire pro over the weekend and I haven't really notice anything other than looks that mades the program any better than any other versions. Would someone care to enlighten me as to what unseen improvements I am receiving? Did I waste my money? Am I being scammed?

Providing you bought Pro from the official site Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download « then you haven't been scammed.

Pro connects you to 5 ultrapeers compared to basic's 3, so the potential for better search results is there. You'll probably notice the difference in search results more if you're searching for rarer files. Pro lets you connect to a couple more hosts for download (10 hosts, or 14 if you have a T3 connection) so the potential is there for higher download speeds. Pro gives you access to email support for 6 months, which basic doesn't offer.

And, of course, the Pro payment helps towards the future development of LW.

I loaded a torrent file last night and it seemed to download faster than the torrent program I use, but LW didn't show the files within the torrent like the other program does. Why is this?

I don't know why, torrents are a mystery to me. Maybe somebody else here can answer that.

Nothing personal, but I seem to be asking questions NOONE is able to answer. :shoot:

Limewire....

Limewire was great a couple of years ago...But since years gone bye people @ L/W either don't give a .... and won't respond to your requests or just don't have any answers. I had bought pro awhile ago and there is NO difference from Basic/PRO...I have downloaded latest verison 4.13.12 Beta/Pro..which Pro is the only version from which you can d/l torrents from...which they do not tell you. Further more there no programs freeze up no d/l or u/l the program just sits there and idles....I feel I have wasted my money on L/W:mad2:

It's not taking me very long to figure I wasted my money too. So PRO loads torrents (big deal), but it doesn't show a listing of the files within the torrents therefor you'll (more likely than not) be downloading a bunch of junk you could have done without. Utorrent is the best I have tried.

If I don't start getting some of these questions answered, I'll demand a refund of my $18.88 American dollars. That almost a case of Beer ya know. :)
